I am alive…

I have not been posting because of all the things going on. I did get moved into the house and I love it. There is some work I need to get done and I am building a site for my house blog. I look forward to seeing how the house improves and becomes my home.

I have been sick with a cold (may be mono) for over a month that I can not shake. I hurt my back pretty bad when moving. It hurt and instead of backing off I kept going and going. Lifting heavy boxes while unpacking and taking things up stairs etc. I went to the doctor and got some muscle relaxers and headed to get them filled. I went into a coughing fit and felt something in my back snap. I barely made it home and onto my couch. I thought the muscle relaxer would kick in and I would be okay. I ended up calling 911 as I couldnt get up off my couch and was in massive pain. I have never felt that much pain before. The ambulance took me to the hospital here, it is in a very small town. They ended up taking me to the larger city that is close to that hospital. They gave me a lot of morphine and I was still in massive pain.

I spent a few days on my sister’s couch and thank god she took care of me and S. Also got my dog from the house. I was unable to care for myself. I was in so much pain. After a few days I snapped out of it. I hurt but I was able to walk around at least. I stopped all the narcotics as I was losing touch with what day it was. I didnt even recall Friday. I went by ambulance on a Thursday. It was awful.

I am going good now though and things are back on track. I will update more soon. I have so much to catch up on all over the place with many things.
