1) Child support modification. I had several issues I needed to address.
a) My ex pays $800mo child support.
b) He has refused several requests from the state to cough up his financial information. He is very well off.
c) He was to pay 50% of S medical bills, that he has not done. I have had to pay $10k since 2003 myself, which financially about killed me. I had judgments, wages garnished, collections up the ass. I am almost done.
d) He was to carry her health insurance, he had poor insurance on her, and at times had lapses in coverage. He also dropped her back in November 2006 with out telling me, I had to go to court earlier this year and get the court order to carry her myself. He refused to give me her certificate of coverage from his insurance he had on her. This resulted in my daughter going into a large gap in insurance and now her ADHD will never be covered under her insurance.

I am so sick of his games. Recently I tried to file small claims to get back the several thousand he owes me in medical bills. Like the child he is, he hid from the civil process server. He was in the house and wouldn’t answer the door. I spent over $100 trying to get a judgment against him. This failed and, well I am not done.

That is the problem. My exhusband loves games, he loves to be irresponsible and likes to make my life hell. He seems to assume he has me in a corner and that I am helpless and can not get him. It has been hard as hell, but with the right moves and the right tactics I got him. In the end I am winning this, and he will not. It has taken me longer, but all I can say is in the end I am laughing.

My hearing for child support was October 31st, his birthday which made me laugh. I knew he would not respond and I knew he would not cough up his financial information. The state can not get the information from the IRS because the loser doesn’t file taxes. I made sure the IRS got his mortgage papers etc. LOL

2) I put in $1200mo for child support. I got it by default because he didn’t respond. He can object, but he would have to cough up all his financial assets and income. I have a lot of documents on his financial status and if he sends in any less, he is in trouble.

3) I also got 90% to 10% medical bill percentages. Meaning he pays 90% of her medical bills and I pay 10%. I know he is going to just pay child support and fail to pay her medical bills like he has since we got divorced. He thinks if he just avoids being served I can’t get him. I refuse to pay a shitload of medical debt the rest of my life because he was an idiot and violated the court order and dropped her insurance and didnt have the BALLS to tell me. I am sick of living like that.

4) The case is going to be filed in with the circuit court. I will just seek violation of a court order instead. I will then serve him by public notice in the paper. I will get my money, and it will attach to my child support. Meaning if he doesnt pay he will be in violation of paying child support, also have a judgment against his house. That sucks.

A judge can toss him in jail until he pays if he or she wishes.

The moral of the story? Don’t fuck with me.

Furthermore into the situation. I do not care that Perez is a outspoken gay. Yet, I laugh that he pushes and pushes for people like Anderson Cooper to just come out and talk about being gay. Like Cooper’s life will not be full circle unless he is in the media talking about gay sex. I actually respect Anderson Cooper for NOT doing it. I don’t think anyone needs to sit and talk about their sex lives in the media. Anderson gives the news, I don’t want to hear about his sex life. He realizes people don’t watch him for his sex life but he wants them to obviously focus on him and his job. Amazing isn’t it?

You can be gay, hold a great career with out putting the words I’m gay into every other sentence. Being gay should be as casual as being straight. Do your job.

Dixie Chicks are another example. Just shut up and sing. They are musicians not political speakers. All people listen to your music and if you sit there and start bashing on politics you are going to piss people off. During a concert is not a time to stress your political views. Freedom of speech? I don’t care if they say it. Just don’t be all pissed off and upset when you get a back lash for it. Common sense goes a long ways.

Okay, yes back to Perez. He is being shoved into the famous spotlight which I don’t know. He is popular and has a decent site but he seriously needs to clean up, he looks like a homeless douche bag himself.

The first line of business is her weight. She is a walking skeleton anymore. Look at pictures of her before Brad Pitt. She was not fat but she had a figure. She is walking bones right now. Her arms, I think I could put my fingers around them. Her head looks to big for her body anymore and her legs are like straws. It is just disgusting. She needs to gain about 20lbs and stop losing weight. She is going to look like Nicole Richie here before long and that is even grosser.

She did this movie A Mighty Heart and the main plot to the story is freedom of speech and the price that can be paid to have that right. Pearl gave his life trying to give us Americans raw journalism, being over in a war zone. Jolie does this movie playing his wife and now it is time for interviews and red carpet affairs for the movie. She bans FOX News. Everyone knows that FOX tends to lean to the right but not near as bias as CNN that just goes completely left. She had all journalist sign a contract. I can understand her point of them not talking to her about her personal life and sticking to the movie. That I respect but it also stated that they could not run any part of the interview or the full interview with any other story that a manner that is disparaging, demeaning, or derogatory towards her. Umm okay that is freedom of speech? Coming from a woman with “know your rights” tattooed on her back. She lives a double standard. She does know her right to try and muffle what she doesn’t like, some major news journalists dropped her interview and used their rights too. Too bad Jolie. What is more important the movie or your political bullshit?

My main concern is the idea of designing a bill and trying to shove it down my throat before helping to cure the problem or at least slow it down. I am not a least bit interested in a bill about immigration until they do something with the borders. I am not about to support bills every 10yrs to legalize millions of criminals.

It is unfair to those that worked so hard, spent the money and the long waiting period to follow the law and do it right. It is a slap in their face. I can not support this bill and happy that my state rep Thune refuses to support it as well even after Bush talked to him. He is standing up for what he was voted in to do. Stand by our state and what we believe in.

Are you shocked that the Gaza strip is being taken over? *gasp* I mean I know that is a shocker to you all. We all know how strong of a military they had to keep control of it after it was handed over to them.

No one is too good for jail or prison. No one. You do the crime you do the time. I get females in that think they are too good for jail. They drive me up a wall and I always make sure to point out they are not too good for jail and they are in jail. I am known to give lectures and when they come in with a BAC level close to .3 I love to remind them that transients come in at that BAC drinking mouth wash. I like to remind them that they are not above the law, they are not too good for jail.

My favorite are the ones that freak out and scream they don’t want to be in there with “those people” and act terrified. I tell them “Most in there are in here just for what you are here for, you are not special.” They hate it. There are a few times that we get into a physical altercation with an inmate that is unexpected, an inmate explodes in anger or we have one locked up in a cell going off. I have seen some female inmates cry, scream and tremble in fear. We had one girl completely break down and I had to calm her down she was so scared. I say this is a good thing. Maybe they won’t come back.

Paris broke the law. No doubts about it. I think back to those pictures and how she thought it was so funny. It is not funny anymore. I commend the judge for treating her like she deserves. I book people into jail every week for driving on suspended and revoked license. I even book them in for no car insurance! Judges here sentence people to those crimes if they feel they need the jail time. Many do not get sentenced, but some will.

It stretches beyond a suspended license issue. She was convicted of DWI dropped down to reckless driving. It is still a crime and the judge let her go with a suspended license and probation. She violated it a few times. You think she should get away with it?

I about fell out of my chair when I read the comment from a court spokesperson that stated the Sheriff decides when people get out of jail not a judge. That is completely insane! It is the Sheriffs duty to uphold what the judges rule!

Also her credit of time has us in awe. We go to the minute. 1 day = 24hrs to the minute. She got credit for two days for about a total of what 30 mins? I mean check in 10mins before midnight on Sunday and that is credit for 1 day? That is nuts.

I’m pretty sure her serious medical condition is her mental state. I can’t imagine if we let out every inmate that had a mental breakdown or mentally didn’t handle being incarcerated well. Paris is having a hard time dealing with being taken from rich and famous to being in jail like so many other people that I am sure she thinks are scum compared to her.

Paris honey it is time to grow the hell up and bite your lip and do the time.

Jail holds misdemeanors and felons. Jail sentences can not extend past one year. You can be convicted of a felony and still stay at the jail level. The judge can sentence you to 5yrs in prison suspend 4yrs and have you serve 1yr in the county jail. They can have you spend just a weekend or 30 days if they want. You don’t have to go to prison. Misdemeanor charges jail time is always done in the jail they can not serve it in a prison.

Inmates can be housed in jail longer then a year as a holding place if needed that gets complicated though.

Paris Hilton was doing jail time not prison time. She is not a felon and was convicted of a misdemeanor charge.

People can be held against their will in a jail by law enforcement for being too intoxicated, drugs in their system or a mental hold. These are not an actual charge but a hold. It’s very common.

That last part of my education is levels of felonies and misdemeanors. There are standard time tables of time you can be sentenced to depending on which class you are convicted of. Felonies in my state range from Class 6 to Class 1. Class A or Class B felony. Class A is the worst felony class 6 is the lowest.

Misdemeanors are Class I or class II and there are of course petty city charges. Class I you can do up to a year in jail, class II I think it is 6mo, petty city charges are like 30 days.

Edit: I forgot to add I think it is lame she is out on house arrest after only 3 days. They say it is credit for 5 days. I don’t know how they do their credit time, but we get down to the exact minute. You get 1 day credit at the 24hrs in custody mark. I think it is lame to get 5 days for 3 days. They count Sunday at a day when she turned herself in right before midnight???? That is insane.

I wasn’t going to post this weekend but work last night was so busy. I didn’t stop and my brain is so racked and I am still wired that I need to do something to slow down before bed. I am reading news.

My thoughts on latest events.

The guy with TB is a selfish ass. He put so many people at risk and even though he said he was told he posed no threat… anyone with the smallest education on TB Knows when the lungs are infected and it is active it is contagious and airborne. How does he think sitting on a plane with people crowded in there safe? It is sad he is not being punished for such an act, but at the same time it is pretty much fatal and would it be worth the hassle even if they could charge him? I think it is ironic his father-in-law works for CDC and specializes in rare forms of TB.

I have so far found a federal job in North Carolina and one in Texas I am getting ready to apply for. I am scared but at the same time, I am excited? If I decide to try for Texas DOC I will have to go down there and test and go back for all interviews etc. *ugh* that part sucks. I am still trying to find out how long their training is as well because that would be the hard part to get through for me being a single mother.

Okay I am going to attempt to go can out.

I am not going to go into a punishment debate here. I want to bring up a point though. I do not understand where trying several times to get a vein for a IV is cruel. How is this cruel? People everyday face this across the world. Yet because he is being put to death it is cruel.
