The more I hear from politics on how they want to “cure” the oil crises with “green” energy the more rage I feel go through my body. Is this really the answer to the current situation? Most will tell you of course not, it will not cure the current problem. It is for the future! I am all for the future but I am also for right now.

In my life time I have never seen a large push to go “green” just talk. I really do not have faith in wind energy and solar energy for right now. Or cars running on water as a majority. In the future? Sure if people get serious. However, this talk doesn’t help my bank account. Does it help yours?

Congress could care less about curing it right now in a majority. They don’t feel the hurt we do. Most of them don’t even fill their own gas tanks! They don’t know what it is like for those working min wage to spend 1/4 of their two weeks paycheck just to fill their gas tank ONCE.

How can the economy survive in this? Most of our money is going in a gas tank just to get to work or pick up the kids. How does that help our economy? The gas stations barely make a profit off gas. The food is costing more, who is making the money there? They are raising prices just to cover fuel. Who makes that money folks? How does this help our economy? It won’t.

Unless people stand up and FORCE congress to act and do what is needed they will just piss around and talk about it.

I don’t want to be told to have a smaller car. My car isnt big. I dont want to be told that I need to drive less. I am barely driving. I have a 60mi commute each day to get to work. Selling my house and moving is not an option. I barely see my family as the cost of gas makes it a challenge to take a road trip. I have bills to pay.

The sad part is, I am far from poor. I make around $75k per year and still struggle. Once I get rid of my car payment soon and medical bills I will have a lot more money to pay for gas. Yet, it doesn’t mean the situation is okay. A lot of people have it much worse then I do.

I must say that I have been completely turned off this election. This post can get rather large as I spew what I think about politics but I will try to control the flow of what is on my mind. That is hard for me, however, I can sure try.

Hilary Clinton. This woman is a complete nut case. I was happy to see her lose but it was bitter sweet. The other alternative is worse then her yet, Obama. I digress and evil vs. evil. Clinton is a poster woman for socialism. I agree Obama is much worse but Hilary is just more out spoken about it. She remind me of a damn robot that responds with the same phrases and answers.

Her stance on programs to help the poor, her views on the war, energy stance and so much more really clashes with how I view our life styles. She wants to play Robinhood and folks that doesn’t work! She is dangerous and frankly I am tired of the Clintons.

Obama has so much wrong with him. I can’t call him the poster boy of socialism because I feel that is to light for his taste. He remind me more of the leader of modern day Marxist! Communism you name it. How on Earth can people think this works?

We all know the government sucks at anything it tries to take care of. The government can NOT take care of us. It sucks at it. Why do I need the government to take care of my health care? They can’t even do a good job with military health care, medicare etc. I am suppose to trust them with my health care? I will pass. I have a job that offers insurance. Expensive yes, but it is a price that is important to pay. Those who can not afford health care are getting government health care in federal and also state programs. They all around suck but it is something, adding a more intense load is going to make it better?

There are many people out there that have larger car payments, house payments etc that skimp health care insurance and bitch they can’t afford it. Live within your means people. How about stop thinking that McDonalds or other slightly above min wage jobs are going to get you further in life. Those jobs are great for the high school kids or even college kids. There becomes a time you need to seek something more in life.

Why would I want the government to even think about my retirement? I don’t want to live on the basics after I work my butt off for years. I want more. Therefore I am in control of my retirement. I will get further. The government has shown you that they can’t take care of your retirement. It is going broke.

War. I can sit and type all day on the war in Iraq. I support it, just based on the fact we must take a stance against those who want to kill us and attack us in our own country. Obama has done nothing but diss our troops and now that he realizes this doesn’t give him brownie points with people he has to go to our troops now and suck up. It is really lame.

Obama really thinks that we can’t live like we want to? Is that how he wants us to live our lives? Screw you Obama. It is people like you that hold us back. You are guzzling more oil and resources then I ever will. You remind me of Al Gore. Now remember the poorer you are it is okay the less you use. If you are wealthy it is okay to suck more and more just because.

I don’t need YOU Obama telling me how to live my life, or forcing me to allow the government to take care of me, or forcing me to take care of the entire country.

McCain - He is the best we have to settle for at the moment. I am not keen on his stance on immigration, guns and a few other things. I will take it, because he is much better of a choice compared to the alternative.

What I really want….

I just wish a true conservative would crawl out from under a rock and come out with a bang. I want someone to believe in and to pour my energy into. I am sick of the Liberals and the Republicans turning into Liberals.

I didnt have energy to do much of anything. I am still tired a lot and struggle to get things done that need done but it is getting better. I have been working on my house. This is a picture of my living room. I love my house.

I have been spending time with my best friend when I can. We talk politics and it is great to have someone that thinks so close to it as I do. We really get talking on it. I am not excited about the race this year. I can’t stand Obama or Clinton. I am not crazy about McCain for the Republican. I don’t see him as a Republican. I don’t agree with his stance on guns or illegals. Oh well, what can you do?

Well American’s are starting to show that we do have control when it comes to politics. The “we the people” means something. Today many say that we do not have a voice in Washington D.C. and believe it or not we actually do. It depends if people have enough passion about a subject to do something about it. We vote these people in that have ideas and values close to ours and if they stray you have power over them. They know they will not be reelected or voted in if they do not do what the majority of their voting base wants.

Daschle was a good example here in our state. He pissed South Dakotan’s off by his very left wing liberal views. He forgot that SD was a majority Republican/Conservative state and in order for him as a Democrat to stay in office he had a lot of Republicans voting for him. He use to have a good balance but soon fell into the Clinton trap and started to swing too left and he was voted out.

This immigration bill has really got people involved. I am not happy with President Bush. He is kissing liberals asses. I liked how he could work with the liberals and the conservatives but what he is doing is not holding true to his party at all. He is helping these law makers shove this bill down our throats and the American people are shoving it back hard saying we do not want it.

The American people have gave a strong message that we are not going to accept these bills until our borders are addressed. They can no longer ignore our borders. We are smart. We understand the problem needs to be addressed before you can correct the mess from the problem. It angers them, they want what they want and it angers them American’s are not just going along with it. I am proud Thune from my state spoke against it and refuses to vote for it. What a man!

This bill is so unfair to all those that followed the system. They are hung up in the system trying to get citizenship and all these people who broke our laws and ran across our borders will bypass all that? They get a fine so that makes it better? No it does not. I tis unfair. We should not reward law breakers. I do not care if they have to hide in the shadows of America. They are still breaking our laws and they made that choice when they came across the border. I don’t feel for them. I just don’t. I am not racist and I am not a hater. I am just realistic. I work in law enforcement and I am even more prone to believing our laws are there for a reason.

I am just happy Americans are speaking out loud and clear and eventually they have to listen because they are not getting that bill by us.

The immigration bill is about to make a come back. CNN is reporting that

Thursday’s breakthrough came just hours after President Bush threw his support behind an amendment — sponsored by Republican Sens. Jon Kyl of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina — that would provide an additional $4.4 billion for border security and work site immigration enforcement. The amendment is a bid to answer concerns from some GOP critics that the security aspects of the bill weren’t tough enough.

Umm. Okay we are suppose to believe this? What happened to that fence that was approved for the border and barely anything has been done? I am suppose to believe that this $4.4 billion in border security is going to close our borders? Show me the plan, put the plan in action and PROVE it before you sell it to me. I think most Republicans will agree. Well I can’t say most Republicans in Washington because they really are not on the same page anymore as true Republicans.

“We’re going to show the American people that the promises in this bill will be kept,” Bush said.

*cough* bullshit. I am having a hard time buying into this one.

Here it is 6am or so and I am listening to Rush Limbaugh online. Trying to catch up with the news and politics. I worked a lot of hours this past weekend and really am out of touch with news. Sipping my coffee with Rush in the background I am feeling in a good mood to post. I am trying to catch up on the Democratic debate. Same shit different debate. Take the rich peoples money to cure the world, tell you to stop using so much energy when you live in an apartment or a modest home and they live in homes that have electric bills larger then your monthly income and you are suppose to agree with them. Global Warming which is a crock of shit and I use the basics to make sure my home is warm or cool, drive a car that is not a tuna can and pay the price of gas. Live it up, live like you mean it. Enjoy it. When Al Gore lives in a smaller house, does not fly all over the place, smaller car and spends less money on basic needs I will start to watch mine. Any of those celebs that like to speak out about how we need to save the planet and they are the worst wasters. I am small to the problem, if there was one.

I am all for the planet and taking care of it but watching how much toilet paper you use? I mean come on. They would shit if they saw how much water I dump down the drain a week from fishtanks. I know here we are having a cooling problem. It seems like summer is never going to start. It is still chilly everyday and not warm like it should be. This winter was pretty bitter too. Our late blizzard in March was a sign that the planet was cool.

The war in Iraq, that talking is the answer to it all and not war. Like terrorists want to talk.

Communist at its best. I love it.

I am a little behind from being sick so I am hitting that pretty hard. I am sitting here listening to Glenn Beck as I do that. His show just cracks me up. I am really becoming a fan of this guy.

This post is going to be my views on Hillary Clinton. I am going to highlight her “issues” and why I see her as dangerous for this country. I have several areas that I want to address with this “robot”.

Hillary is so afraid of being herself that she has become so scripted that listening to her is like listening to a robot on repeat. Hillary can not speak freely or with out her “script” because she screws up and that is one of her biggest fears. Her facial expressions have become just as robot like as her speaking. She is becoming down right freaky! I don’t have much time to post but here is a start.

Oil Profits - Proof she is a socialist.

“I want to take those profits and put them into an alternative energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy alternatives that will actually begin to move us toward the direction of independence.”

Notice that she says she wants to “take” the profits. That is what her kind is all about. They have no right to just “take” money. There is no reason that the oil companies should have to pay for her plan. Also you as an American have a right to buy shares and invest in those profits and profit yourself. In fact those who are invested in these shares will not be happy when Hillary takes them.

I am pissed as anyone else about the high gas prices. In fact at the time of this post gas here is $2.99gl and I feel the hurt like everyone else. However, fuel is always in demand and we pay the price. Like the oil companies or not, there is no right to just take their profits.

Don’t think this is the only company she wants to take profits from.

Finger-to-the-wind

Hillary has no stable ground. She has been doing her finger-to-the-wind politics from the start. She sticks her finger up and tests the air and follows it as far as she can before she does it again and runs another direction. The most popular finger-to-the-wind stunt was the war. I am a supporter of the war, get that out of the way. However, for those democrats that do not support the war they are looking for answers from those in their party that voted for the war. She to this day refuses to say she was wrong casting a vote for the war. Instead she states over and over “if I knew then what I know now”. She wants to only blame Bush.

She has said over and over again that she will “end this war” as soon as she takes office. She has also stated she would leave troops in Iraq. She will not say how many but she indeed will leave troops in Iraq. This is such a flip flop! Leaving troops just reinforced that troops are needed in Iraq.

John Spencer at least got Hillary. He asked her when she was going to be responsible for anything. That she always blames President Bush. That hit a nail on the head. Hillary never looks at herself.

It has been awhile since I have been able to do a political post. This morning I have some time. Glenn Beck has an interesting show on this morning hashing out the selection or lack of for Presidential runners. He is nailing it down pretty good and it is making for a great show. It is not just Dems he is talking about but even Republicans as well.

I have stated for a long time that Hilary Clinton will wake up that she alone can not make it into office. She would have the best chance as a VP. Her campaign is boring as hell because Hilary refuses to deviate from her script that she has had down for years. I agree with Glenn Beck that Hilary is more in line with American Liberal mainstream.

Barack Obama is so far left it is unreal. He swings further left then Ted Kennedy. He is far from the mainstream liberal views of America yet he is “trendy” and it is not based on real issues but popularity. Glenn Beck had a great comment that Barack could pick a VP that balances him that is more moderate. I can see that happening. That he can pick outside the field for his VP. Interesting.

Edwards I don’t see making past the primary as a runner. He just is not able to compete with Clinton and Obama. I think his wife’s health will go down hill before we make it there and he will pull out of the race all together anyways.

Rudy Giuliani, I like the guy and he has done some good and he knows how to work some issues such as taxes, crime and dealing with hard times such as 9/11. However I do agree this man is all over the place. I do not feel he is Republican he has to many liberal sides to him. His personal life is a mess and something the American people are not going to look past in my opinion. Rudy hasn’t found himself yet and I do not see him as stable.

John McCain, he burnt me out a few years ago with his liberal ass kissing. This past year with the war in Iraq he has stood more solid ground and made more sense but for me it is to late. I don’t get the feel either that he will make it very far. He isn’t solid. I am not ranking him up there to make it that far.

Newt Gingrich isn’t even running for President but he has a following. I have said for years he eventually will go for it and was waiting for a few things. To age as he was young as Speaker. He was waiting for Bush Jr. to go through. However he is letting out his skeletons and getting them out of the way. He admits to an affair. Affairs are not something Americans sit back and freak out about. President Clinton was different in that he was doing Monica in the big house. That was a slap to American’s faces. I still stand by Newt and would like to see him run for President. He is conservative and he gets things done. Newt has a mouth on him and a temper and that is hard for Americans to take. I think it is time for a President with balls. I think Newt can do it. I would love to hear more on how he views our borders and illegal aliens.

I listen to a lot of talk radio in my car. I am always on the search for some talk radio on my computer. I like listening to Glenn Beck but his show was pulled from the station I listen to all the time. I found him on another station but there had to be a place on the Internet. I was out in my car listening to him this morning because he is doing a good show going over the Presidential runners.

I found a great site!! www.streamingradioguide.com. I will post links to some great shows you can listen to live. There is much more but here are a few that showed up right away.

I got a call from the republican National Committee today. I admit in the 2004 elections I was quite active with the Republican Party. The first 4 years of the Republicans in 2000-2004 were awesome. They took care of business, lead this nation, and kicked some ass. This time around they have changed for the worse. I am plain disgusted and ashamed. And quite frankly pissed.

I have been looking into the Libertarian party more and more lately. Seems the Independent party is more conservative, less power driven, cheating, self-ego agenda, non-socialist, political corrected, party out there. They believe in free enterprise and competition, hard work, and not taxing you to death.

So the RNC called me and wanted me to make a $90.00 donation. This for me is quite steep. I said I didn’t think so because I have not seen the Republicans do anything worth a shit in the last 3 years that has impressed me and NOT piss me off. She came back with “Do you want to see Nanci Pelosi in the White House or Hillary Clinton?”.. I said “oh god no”.. I said if the Repubs keep it up that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Many Americans are degusted at the bullshit. Not one Repub has stood up and faced these liberals and called them on the carpet, nor took a stance on conservatism. She rebutted me 3 times and said “I suppose that a $45.00 is out of the question? My answer?

“Just take my $90.00 donation out of the pork infested defense bill passed yesterday which at the end of the bill added millions for the presidential committees”… I swear my patience has worn thin lately with these people. Like everything will miraculously change in 2008? .. I’ll bet my next tax refund check it will (like I will be getting one of those)
