Well I am alive.

I have been very busy getting my life back on track. I had what I think was mono and hurt my back and that put me out of commission for a long time. I didnt have energy to do much of anything. I am still tired a lot and struggle to get things done that need done but it is getting better. I have been working on my house. This is a picture of my living room. I love my house.

I have been spending time with my best friend when I can. We talk politics and it is great to have someone that thinks so close to it as I do. We really get talking on it. I am not excited about the race this year. I can’t stand Obama or Clinton. I am not crazy about McCain for the Republican. I don’t see him as a Republican. I don’t agree with his stance on guns or illegals. Oh well, what can you do?

Well American’s are starting to show that we do have control when it comes to politics. The “we the people” means something. Today many say that we do not have a voice in Washington D.C. and believe it or not we actually do. It depends if people have enough passion about a subject to do something about it. We vote these people in that have ideas and values close to ours and if they stray you have power over them. They know they will not be reelected or voted in if they do not do what the majority of their voting base wants.

Daschle was a good example here in our state. He pissed South Dakotan’s off by his very left wing liberal views. He forgot that SD was a majority Republican/Conservative state and in order for him as a Democrat to stay in office he had a lot of Republicans voting for him. He use to have a good balance but soon fell into the Clinton trap and started to swing too left and he was voted out.

This immigration bill has really got people involved. I am not happy with President Bush. He is kissing liberals asses. I liked how he could work with the liberals and the conservatives but what he is doing is not holding true to his party at all. He is helping these law makers shove this bill down our throats and the American people are shoving it back hard saying we do not want it. Continue Reading…

Lies, Lies and More Lies

The immigration bill is about to make a come back. CNN is reporting that

Thursday’s breakthrough came just hours after President Bush threw his support behind an amendment — sponsored by Republican Sens. Jon Kyl of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina — that would provide an additional $4.4 billion for border security and work site immigration enforcement. The amendment is a bid to answer concerns from some GOP critics that the security aspects of the bill weren’t tough enough.

Umm. Okay we are suppose to believe this? What happened to that fence that was approved for the border and barely anything has been done? I am suppose to believe that this $4.4 billion in border security is going to close our borders? Show me the plan, put the plan in action and PROVE it before you sell it to me. I think most Republicans will agree. Well I can’t say most Republicans in Washington because they really are not on the same page anymore as true Republicans.

“We’re going to show the American people that the promises in this bill will be kept,” Bush said.

*cough* bullshit. I am having a hard time buying into this one.
