Seeing Ronald Reagan with a tear in his eye, crying over the shape of our country. There are so many things that would make this man cringe today if he were still alive. Ronald Reagan was a true patriot and man who loved this country with all his heart and being. Ronald Reagan was a true conservative, and man that believed that small government was a good thing. The less the government interfered with its citizens lives the better. This man I hold as my hero. When this man spoke he spoke from the heart to the everyday common man. He spoke with grace, passion, and conviction of what he believed in would be the best for the his nation under God.

As a conservative, President Ronald Reagan did not believe it was in this nations best interest to abort babies. Reagan believed babies were a gift. Aborting babies was immoral and wrong in his eyes and the eyes of God. His way was to promote family planning as well a family unit. Having babies out of wedlock wasn’t a good thing either. He promoted a family unit was better than a bastard child wondering who or what his dad was. He knew kids growing up without mothers and fathers would lead to a decline in humanity and social issues. Which he was right. Look at our society and the crimes we have today. Compare those with crimes and moral issues we had in the 60’s. Our society today is just disgusting and disturbing. Our society is on a steady decline in which morals are not passed down, human life is not reguarded as sacred, and the family unit and marriage are not taken as seriously as they should. It is now a $300.00 joke.

Reagan believed in having a strong military to be ready at all times to fight for this nation that he loved so much. He felt that this nation should be ready at a moments notice to protect itself and its allies from harm. As for Clinton cutting our military to half its size and under funding the Armed Forces because he felt we should reason and talk with terrorists instead of using the force that they’ve shown us. Lets talk them to death was his motto.

President Reagan also believed that every American citizen should help themselves and not rely on the government to take care of them cradle to grave. He wanted Americans to be self sufficient. But understood that circumstances happened, and therefore there were programs made to help that citizen when times were truly tough due to circumstances they could not control. Back in Reagan’s day.. being on food stamps and welfare was embarrassing and very humbling. You felt shamed. Today we find being on a government program cool and taken as a RIGHT. The government is in EVERY aspect of our lives. We are no longer free. We are a ward of the government. Well let me tell you relying on Uncle Sam to save you from floods, hurricanes, storms, fires.. you will die.

Stand up and take care of yourself. After you’ve exhausted all means of helping yourself, and sacrificing the luxuries in your life including your 40 oz beers.. then ask for help. Now today we hear commercials on the radio and TV on how easy it is and how you and I DESERVE a government handout. Sorry folks.. but this conservative chick would rather work her ass off than let the government be my sugar daddy. Just remember, ALL SUGAR DADDIES ARE CONTROL FREAKS. AND WILL INCH AWAY AT YOUR LIFE UNTIL THEY RUN IT.

Have you really say down and thought just how big government has gotten and has chipped it’s way into your life? Think about it. Wee buys a cell phone. Because it is todays convienience thing to do. Now, if the government wants, it can track your every move just because my cell phone is in my purse. It can track you from the towers you bounce off of. Neat. NOT. Wee buys a 2007 car. (I wish). Now this the computers in the cars, they too can track your every move with the built in gps systems and programs like On-Star. I don’t like that. So now I have to register this car. Now the county, state, feds can see wee bought a new car.

Next thing is paperless economy. why? I feel they are forcing more and more people into credit cards and debit cards for the reason of.. they can track you. As of today they would know that I went to Wal-Mart, got gas, went to Coyote Canyon to eat, got snacks at a gas station, and paid my cell bill today. It is so easy to track a person who can’t write checks anywhere and does thier transactions by cards. Think about someone can find out about you and your habits by this electronic banking stuff we have today. It is almost as if checks are the thing of the past and cash is an annoyance to use and is frowned upon nowadays. Think of the change that has came in the last 20 years in our money system and how we use it. Scary.

Seems like people now a days have no morals, work ethic, or think they have a right that the government take care of them from cradle to grave. We have lost our ability to help ourselves in time of need. We have the richest poor in this country. I see the “poor” driving BMW’s, wearing name brand clothing, own several tv’s. and even carry top notch state of the art cell phones. To me these are luxuries not necessities. I don’t think very many people in this country could live in a truely poor situation. Todays day and age if a man had to go out and shoot a deer for feed his family, he would be put in jail. The government would rather you accept government aid than feed yourself like your ancestors did. The decline in this country is very sad.

So yes this picture to me really hits home in a lot of areas. I wish for the election of 2008 we would see a canidate that does not talk out of both sides of his mouth. Seems that the only way to make it into office is how many bribes and lies you make and take. There is nothing moral about making it into office. It is all ran by money and power. These people don’t give two-shits about and you me. It’s all about money and power. What we have now is a sytem that is corrupt and broken. If our founding fathers saw this they would be appalled and disturbed by this as well. I don’t see this getting any better in the future. Just worse. And that my friends is very sad. There fore.. the tear.
